If someone as iconic as Ms. Crawford values her hairdresser as much as her talent, then cosmetologists are truly essential. This is why I love my career so much. I enjoy helping my clients feel and look their best. It's incredibly rewarding to see the joy on their faces when they look in the mirror after a service and are pleased with the results. "There is no better therapy than sitting in your stylist's chair." - Marilyn Monroe This quote also resonates with me because, as a cosmetologist, I often find myself playing the role of a therapist without the official license. I spend countless hours with my clients, getting to know them on a personal level. I know their birthdays, their family members' birthdays, and all about their personal struggles and triumphs.
